The Ottawa Hospital is one of the leading hospital in Ottawa, Ontario for women, children, and pregnant ladies. To provide each patient with the world-class care, exceptional service and compassion we would want for our loved ones is the hospital's mission. I was given the task to redesign and provide a variation of the hospital's logo along with five other members.
The mandatory specification of the logo design was to keep the '+' in every variation we create.
To start with the process, I dig out some basic elements the Ottawa as a province uses. It has three ribbon-like structures in its logo that became one of the second necessity of my design. I used those three ribbons and changed their formation and placement to circle it around the plus. My vision towards this was to showcase a safe aura , a protective shelf for the patients whenever they come into the hospital.
