This logo involves a thorough research about science and its elements. I began by looking through its competitors and comparing their result with the client's needs.  This gave me a good opportunity to refurbish certain things that needs to be considered while making this logo. 

I took 'STAR' as the main element and kept it in the logo as well for easy understanding and recognition. Since this logo will be used on the laboratory's equipment, events, etc., confining  space was important. So I restricted the logo's boundaries to a rectangle that would help client use this logo at all places.
